The Hartuition Process
Our lifestyle behaviour coaching and education will help you create habits that work for you, and help you realize your potential.
Here is the process we’ll follow together:
I was suffering from major burnout when I started my health and wellness coaching experience with Michele. I was worn out physically and mentally suffering from fatigue, weight gain, sleeplessness, and chronic stress. Also, my emotions were all over the place. I felt on edge all the time.
Michele helped me identify some underlying emotional issues that were causing me to eat the wrong foods, stop exercising, and fall into a major stress spiral. With her support I was able to take control over my life.
We implemented changes in my diet and exercise routine. Michele helped me to schedule my time wisely to create a better work/life balance. Part of that scheduling included setting and maintaining boundaries. I learned to say “No” to people and activities I felt I had to address to please others when in reality were not a priority for me.
I feel much better since I’ve been working with Michele. I feel more energized, healthier, relaxed and more in control over my life!
My life was totally out of control when I met Michele. I was a new mother, and I had just returned to my full-time job. I was already physically drained and overwhelmed from caring for my son, and resuming my work responsibilities just aggravated these conditions. In addition, I was very uncomfortable with my post-delivery body. I didn’t recognize myself when I looked in the mirror.
My discussions with Michele helped me realize that I needed more support from others at home and work for me to work through this challenging life transition. Together, Michele and I devised a plan for me to enlist support from others to assist in caring for my son.
I decided to request temporary part-time status at work for my son’s first two years, so I could spend more time taking care of myself and my family. The plan also included measures to improve my diet, increase my physical activity, and schedule in routine “Me time” to relax, see friends, or engage in creative activities that I enjoy.
I can’t tell you how much I appreciate the support, encouragement and wise advice Michele provided during our coaching sessions. I know we will meet often moving forward as more health and wellness challenges arise.
I consulted with Michele because I needed advice and counselling regarding my eating habits, which had all changed due to a big shift in my work, where I lived, and my normal routine. I had just moved back home from Asia, had embarked on different work and a hectic schedule. I had, alas also put on about 20lbs in the course of tha last two years, which I called my ” Covid 19″.
I felt run down and was ashamed that I had let the weight pile on, and could not even bring myself to get on a weighing scale. The anxiety was also affecting my sleep.
I was impressed by Michele’s knowledge of nutrition and wellness related to good eating habits. She introduced various weight loss programs that could work for me, and I chose the one I wanted to try. She also shared a lot of resources and materials. But even more importantly, Michele helped me to get past the emotions I was feeling about my weight and how I looked.
She counselled me and gradually I began to accept myself and move forward. She listened and was empathetic and thoughtful. I cannot say that I have lost all of the weight, but it has become a gradual and certainly, more approachable goal. I feel hopeful and in better control.
